Motzkin family founded Empire Recycling in the year 2000.
Collectively they have been in
the
rubbish and recycling industry for three generations. The family
is committed to providing exceptional service to its recycling and
waste
disposal customers.
Joseph E. Motzkin has been in the industry for over forty-eight years. He has been involved in every aspect of the business, from truck driver to C.E.O. Joe started his career with his father in the family business, and went on to manage some of the larger national companies including Laidlaw and Waste Systems International.
Joseph H. Motzkin has been in the industry for over fourteen years. After receiving his M.B.A., Joseph accepted a position managing Prins Recycling. Currently he is the president of Empire Recycling.
Sandra Motzkin, one of the few women in the industry, has over twenty-eight years experience.
Michael Motzkin has been
involved in sales and bings over eight years
experience. Michael is also the primary contact for local and state governmental relations.
Lee
Nogler has been the operations manager for
Empire Recycling since the company's inception in 2000. Lee has over ten years experience in recycling management.
Over the past seven years the Motzkin family
has built Empire Recycling into one of the largest recycling companies in the New England area, processing over 15,000 tons of
recyclables per month and operating a large fleet of trucks providing
a full range of services to customers.
